After the successful launch of Sainsbury’s Brand Match in September of last year, Sainsburys Brand Match has been nominated for the Oracle Retail Technology Initiative of the Year Award 2012.

The industry-leading technology is the first price-match scheme to incorporate an instant money-off voucher at the till, and is powered by independent data from Brand View.
Renowned as the biggest event in the retail calendar, the Oracle Retail Week Awards celebrates the very best in UK retailing and attracts the most senior figures from across the industry. The Retail Technology Initiative of the Year Award aims to recognise a truly innovative retail initiative which uses world-leading technology to generate clear business benefits. Sainsbury’s Brand Match is one of 7 nominated in this category, and is the only supermarket initiative.
We’ll be keeping all fingers crossed as the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony later today, 15th March, at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
