Which are the most promoted categories?

As part of our sponsorship of the IGD Sainsbury’s Trade Briefing 2012, taking place on Tuesday 31st January, Brand View has put together an exclusive Volume on Deal and Depth of Cut by Category report giving a snap shot of the most promoted categories across Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

The report will measure the number of SKUs on promotion across Grocery, Health & Beauty, Beers, Wines & Spirits, and Household categories, ranked in order of the Volume on Deal (the percentage of SKUs on promotion) as well as displaying the Depth of Cut (actual price reduction off the base price of the product).
